We’re located at 207 W Mississippi Ave in the heart of downtown Ruston, Louisiana, steps from local shops, restaurants, and accommodations. Several hotels and short-term rentals are just a few minutes away, making it convenient for out-of-town guests to enjoy everything Ruston has to offer.
There is an Airbnb next door called The Elephant Room. We often recommend wedding parties rent it for extra space to get ready or extra space for your caterer! It's also a great option for out of town couples to stay right next to your venue.

We have a catering kitchen you or your vendors can use to keep food hot or cold and for service staging. We do not have cooking equipment for preparation of food onsite.
Yes, alcohol is allowed at The Norton Building. We do require that all alcohol be served by a licensed bartender to ensure guest safety and compliance with local regulations. We're happy to recommend our favorite bar vendors too!
We include round tables and chairs. We also have 4 enormous beautiful green ferns, 2 granite-top bars, 4 plant stands, and several other decorative items that are included in your rental. Any additional items or specialty rentals can be brought in through vendors of your choice.

Yes! We’re proud to offer a beautiful bridal suite on-site. Featuring large windows that fill the room with natural light, it’s the perfect space for getting ready, relaxing with your bridal party, and capturing stunning pre-ceremony photos. It’s one of our favorite features, and a favorite among photographers, too.
Absolutely! Many of our couples choose to get ready here and host both their ceremony and reception with us. Our courtyard offers multiple layout options to make transitions smooth from photos to vows to dance floor.
Nope, we allow you to break down the next morning! All you need to do is put your trash in the provided cans the night of your event. Remove anything you brought with you by Noon the following day. We'll handle all the cleaning from there!
To respect our neighbors and city guidelines, all music must end by 10:30 PM, and events must conclude by 11:00 PM. Arrangements can be made to break down your event the next day. We’ll go over these details with you personally to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Yes, we offer nearby guest parking options, and there is ample parking available within walking distance. We’re also happy to coordinate with you on transportation recommendations for larger events.
We can comfortably host events for up to 300 guests. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, our flexible layout allows you to design the perfect setup for your guest list.

Yes! We host events all year long. Each season brings its own kind of beauty to our space, from warm spring evenings under the lights to crisp fall weddings with golden-hour charm. Popular dates book quickly, so we encourage early inquiries!
We are both! Our main event space is an outdoor, open-air courtyard surrounded by a second story balcony. Attached to the courtyard is an indoor space we call The Magnolia Room. This area is often used for gifts and cake cutting during our weddings. It's also a great space for baby and bridal showers.
